It's been 1 month ++ since i last blogged eh (again). Well...i just got back from Singapore today. It was a very tiring day for because i drove all the way back from JB to KL. Well i am going to tell you how did my Singapore trip went.

The last time i went to Singapore was back in 2002 and i haven't been there for since then. So this year me and my "travelling" friends decided to go down to Singapore for a visit. So ok...i agreed with them as i haven't been in there for a very long time and i want to get something there too at the same time which i have been finding the right time to go. Since i am down i might as well look for my ex-Brisbane housemates in Singapore. So i told them that i'm coming down to Singapore for a visit and asked them to plan my Singapore trip! Then just 2 days before our departure from KL to Singapore, my initial "travelling" friends all cannot make it last min. I was devastated at that time but cannot blamed them as they don't want this to happen too. Since i have promised my ex-Brisbane housemates in Singapore i am coming down and some have already cancelled their plans just to accompany me, i will feel bad if i cancel the trip for the 2nd time. Last year i initially wanted to go look for them too buy i cancelled it due to some stupid reasons i gave myself in the past. I am not the kind of person who would repeat the same thing twice and since i want to get my brand new Taylor Guitar in Singapore, i'll just go down myself and look for them.

I went down to JB last Thursday and stayed at my Aunt place. I used to live in JB when i was 7 to 9 years old. JB sure changed alot but not the food! My aunt brought me to my old favorite makan places like "keow teow kia", JB beef noodle and Restaurant Sing Kee's all time favorite "ham yee kai". Yum yum....it sure does bring me back to those days when i was in JB. Back to my Singapore trip, i went in to Singapore only on Friday Morning. Lucky that time my friend Lenny haven't really started her new job yet so she got time to bring me around Singapore while the rest of them are busy working. Went to Orchard road to makan, then wanted to go get my Taylor guitar after that but i wanted to go Science Centre and since is further away, i suggested to Lenny that we go Science centre 1st and after that only go get my guitar. So we spent alot of time in the Science centre along with many school kids. Well, i've been to science centre when i was a kid before and i just want to go in and see what's inside now. Although it was really simple science inside but still it was fun to be a kid again sometimes! Then it was 5pm and we're still in science centre, lenny told me that we should go get my guitar. That time i haven't really finished exploring the whole science centre and i told her we will go tomorrow (saturday). Lenny still tried to talk me out but i insisted that we finish exploring the science centre. So by the time we finish science centre, it was already 6pm and science center is closed already. Since it's almost time for dinner and the guitar shop will close at 7pm, we went to Vivo City shopping complex to get our dinner. Went to a chinese restaurant called Bosses and it was really good. Although it was a bit pricy but once in a while ok la. We was suppose to met up Peter for drinking session after that but we cannot get him on his mobile so i called out Bee Teng since she's in Singapore.  Met her up at some place for korean food and chit chat. She asked me i got a place to sleep in Singapore and i told her no and will be going back to JB at late at night. She offered her place to sleep for Saturday. At 1st i wasn't so keen to sleep over at her place as it's very last minute but she said it's ok and i was glade to accept it. After that they walked me to the bugis bus station and saw me off. That end my 1st Singapore Trip.

2nd day i was suppose to meet Lenny at Kranji station same time but thanks to the amount of visitors stuck at Singapore customs, was 1 hour late and she waited for me there soooo long. After i meet up with Lenny, we went to bugis to meet up Shu Shan and Gretel. Shu shan insisted she buy me lunch since i come down all the way to look for them. I refused but she won buying me lunch, so i guess i will repay her again in the future. We had a long chat and after that meet up with Peter. Gretel and Shu Shan have to go else where to do their stuff so Peter and Lenny accompany me to a shopping mall to get my guitar. When we reached the shop, it was CLOSED! I was like WTF! Then i look at their business hours  and it say "Saturday 1030am-3pm" and i look at the time it was 320pm. I was 20 mins late! I didn't know they opened half day on Saturday. Then i got scolding from Lenny that i should have got it yesterday after the science centre. Now i am regretting it. I was really looking forward to get my Taylor guitar for almost a year and now when i'm finally in Singapore to get it, i can't. I was awfully disappointed. Seriously, i was really down when i cannot get it. I was eating ice cream with Peter and Lenny and i didn't say a word for the 1st 20 mins and when Peter said "don't be so down benny, get it another day la". Then i was thinking maybe i will take MC on Monday and get get it and go back to KL on Monday only but i didn't do it. After Ice cream session Peter had to go off so went to the spitting merlia lion place. That's where the F1 track was held. Took pictures and went off to Clarke Quay for dinner. Clarke Quay is like Bangsar where you will find all Bars and Clubs there but alot nicer than Bangsar. Alot of whites. After dinner i actually wanted to go drinking with them but the ladies said another time. Oh well, next time then and this will give me another reasons to come down. We left Clarke Quay around 11pm and that time it was really happenning. I went to Bee Teng's place and doze off.

I seriously have to thank all my exhousemate when i went down to visit them. They bought me lunch and dinner which i don't them to buy actually but since they insisted, i took the offer. I will repay back their kindness when they are down in KL at mamak stall.

A big THANK YOU to Lenny, Shu Shan, Peter and Gretel for their time in Singapore and not forgetting Bee Teng for letting me sleep over at her brother's place. I will be back in Singapore this month again to get my guitar. I am awfully dissapointed not getting my guitar in Singapore but i wil get it again! I wont give up! Thanks and take care my friends!
