Alright, it's time for me to start to tell grandfather story here. It's been a while since i was blogging here. Lets see.....it's already September and boy time sure fly fast. Another 3 more months it'll be 2008. What have i achieved during 2007....hm..... Oh no....not yet done anything! I better start now.

 

Last month i went for teasure hunt and i didn't win anything except for a 512mb thumb drive that i won from a lucky draw. Why 512 mb!? 1gb only cost like rm30 and i got a 512mb only! Oh well, better than nothing though. The teasure hunt was a really fun. It was my 1st time on a treasure hunt and boy the question sure are hard! I though they will ask questions base on general knowledge that everyone should know but it wasn't. It's everything! Questions could from from Sports, History, and ETC. Wow....how are we going to know all those? We dont have any internet access while doing treasure hunt. Somehow those who went for treasure hunt before knows the trick to it and got almost full points. My team got only like 75% correct. That's a pretty good score for a 1st timer. Well now i know the trick and i think i should be able to perform better for the next treasure hunt!

 

After the hunt we stayed at City Bay View Hotel in the heart of Penang. Just beside the Hotel was the clubbing area. I know i'll be spending time in the club at night but me and my friends went to Batu Feringgi to buy pirated DVD. 1 DVD cost only RM4. A few of my colleagues buy the DVD as though it was free!! See this take, see that take. I only bought the OC Season 4 and Band of Brothers. Now i have complete set of The OC S1-4. When we was on the way back to our hotel around 12am, we was really tired and wanted to go back to the hotel and sleep. But when we by pass the clubbing area beside out hotel, boy it was HAPPENING! Seing all those chicks going into the club really woke us up. My boss has reserved a place in the club and asked us to join them. So without hesitation we changed our attire and went in to get wasted. As we was drinking and dancing until 230am, i wanted to go back and sleep already as i was really sleepy. When i was about to talk out of the club, police came and raid the club. I was like "oh shit...just when i was about to leave". We cannot leave the club for about 1 hour and when they opened the door and start to let people out. 1 of my colleague was asked to go up the lorry and follow them back to the police station for urine check. Lucky i wasn't asked to go up the lorry, else i'll be back only very early in the morning. After that raid, i went back and sleep and it was around 4am already. Next day we checked out, bought some biscuit and went back KL. It was tiring but 1 good experience.

 

Now about my work, there is this new network department called GNE just started. I want to move to the new department as i will learn more here. I spoke with my big boss and he said he will try and push me in the department. Hopefully i get to move to GNE by October as im not impoving my network skills in my current deparment. Need to move on to be better at networking and hopefully capable to take up th CCIE written exam.
